Business group slams patchy broadband availability
The Chambers of Commerce of Ireland has slammed the patchy availability of broadband services to companies throughout the country.
The business organisation said today that almost one third of firms did not have broadband access, despite repeated government promises about the roll-out of the technology.
CCI spokesman Sean Murphy said this patchy availability was harming the technological advancement of the island of Ireland.
"To become a 'digital isle', we need far more richer connections to broadband around the country," he said.
