Pru boss pledges to retain Egg

The new boss of Prudential mapped out his plans for the British insurer today with a pledge to retain ownership of the internet bank Egg.

Mark Tucker, who became chief executive in May, ended months of speculation over the future of Egg by committing the Pru to developing the brand.
