Kingspan benefits from profits announcement on ISEQ

Kingspan Group, the construction company, rose 22c to €11.22 on today's ISEQ following their announcement of a 54% increase in operating profits for the first six months of this year.

DCC fell 10c €18.40. The company today announced the appointments of Ms Roisín Brennan and Mr Michael Buckley.

It is a good day for the financials. Anglo Irish Bank, Bank of Ireland and Irish Life and Permanent all rose 5c to €11.35, €12.95 and €15.10 respectively. AIB rose 3c to €17.68.

Takeover target Jurys recorded no change today, remaining at €18.00.
