Second-hand Dublin house prices up 15.5% in past year
Second-hand house prices in Dublin are increasing ahead of predictions, according to the property firm Douglas Newman Good.
In its latest house price gauge, the company said average prices for second-hand homes in the capital had increased by 15.5% to €424,000 in the 12 months to June of this year.
It also said first-time buyers accounted for half of all second-hand homes sold in Dublin between April and June, while almost 70% of all sales were agreed within two months of the house going on the market.
