Changes at Sky Ireland

Media company Sky has appointed Delia Bushell as managing director, Ireland and promoted Mark Deering to the role of deputy managing director with immediate effect.

Reporting to Richard Freudenstein, Sky’s chief operating officer, Ms Bushell will drive Sky’s strategy in Ireland, oversee growth opportunities and lead the team at its Earlsfort Terrace headquarters.

Ms Bushell said: “The prospects for growth in Ireland are very strong. There is a lot of hard work to be done, but with a line-up of channels, programming and advanced technology that gets better all the time…I look forward to ensuring the full potential of the company is achieved here.”

Ms Bushell has worked at Sky since 1999, most recently as Director of Commercial Affairs, Sky Networks. She previously worked for Pearson plc and in strategy consulting at Arthur D. Little.
