Revenue takes in €312m in latest tax evasion probe

The Revenue Commissioners has announced receipts totalling €312m in their on-going investigation into the use of life assurance products to evade tax.

The tax collection agency said today that 4,600 people had admitted their involvement in such schemes ahead of the deadline for voluntary disclosure last Friday.
