Govt pension fund 'to bail out Rover workers'
Pensioners of the collapsed MG Rover Group look set to be bailed out by the British government’s new Pension Protection Fund, it emerged today.
The head of independent trustees of the group’s two pension schemes, Chris Martin, said he expected to receive confirmation that they would benefit from the PPF within the next few weeks.
