PFH completes Munster deals

PFH Computers has recently completed deals with two of the biggest firms in Munster.

It has installed a business-critical e-mail system for the Musgrave SuperValu-Centra (MSVC) group and launched a new, 750,000 multi-property IT-management system with new networks and integration for the Tower Hotel Group.

PFH, with offices in Cork and Dublin, employs more than 80 people and is actively involved in outsourcing IT services, project management, training and consultancy services, business systems solutions and IT infrastructure.

The system, C2C’s Archive One Policy Module for MSVC, provides rules-driven archiving to improve performance, invisibility to the end-user, and ease of installation.

“It was very straightforward — quite simply the easiest enterprise install I’ve ever seen,” Stephen O’Herlihy, system administrator with Musgrave, told the Evening Echo.

“PFH helped us select the best solution for the job, we successfully installed it in a day and we performed the first archive runs the next day.”

Deirdre Power, general manager commercial, Tower Hotel Group — five hotels owned by FBD Insurance — said they were delighted with the service they received from PFH.

PFH logistics manager, John Hourican, said PFH’s wide experience in delivering IT solutions to the hotel industry over the past 12 years and their industry reputation were key drivers in the success of this project.

PFH has previously completed projects for Jurys Doyle Hotel Group and the Clarion Group.
