ISEQ has negative morning
Dublin's ISEQ index stood at 6,188.41 by 11am this morning, a fall of 25.24 points.
Television company, Ulster Television, recorded the largest fall in morning's trading as they saw their stock tumble 55c to €6.52.
Another major faller was Bank of Ireland with a 25c decrease to €12.45 in a negative start for the financial sector in general. Anglo Irish Bank fell seven cents to €9.80, Irish Life and Permanent were down five cents to €13.50 and AIB were a cent less well-off at €16.65.
Construction firms continued the downturn with both CRH and Grafton recording 10-cent slides to €20.53 and €9.00 respectively, while business support firm DCC had a share price fall of 12c to €16.38.
On the positive side were Elan with a 15c rise to €5.65 and Paddy Power whose shares climbed 10c to €13.50.
