Cadbury plans new £40m choc plant
Confectionery giant Cadbury is to invest £40m (€58m) in a new chocolate-making facility at its historic Bournville plant, it was announced today.
The development of a 20,000-tonne moulding plant includes new wrapping and packing lines plus a new chocolate-making area at the Birmingham factory.
The expansion was in response to growing demand for its Dairy Milk products, the company said.
