ESB Telecoms linkes up with Damovo
ESB Telecoms has chosen Damovo to supply it with interconnection equipment which allows other telecoms operators to access its nationwide fibre backbone.
ESB Telecoms has a network of high-bandwidth optical fibre which connects the major population centres together. It is carried alongside the national power company's existing infrastructure of power cables and pylons.
Other telecommunications operators can then link their networks, which service local areas around the country, into this backbone for fast national and international connectivity.
ESB Telecoms is a wholly owned subsidiary within the ESB Group. ESB Telecoms has built, owns and operates over a 1,300 kilometre National Fibre Optic Telecom Network.
Damovo designs, implements, supports and manages converged communications solutions for organisations.
