Sal Oppenheim, the German majority shareholder of Montgomery Oppenheim, has announced it has acquired the shareholding of founder and managing director, Paul Montgomery.

Sal Oppenheim, the German majority shareholder of Montgomery Oppenheim, has announced it has acquired the shareholding of founder and managing director, Paul Montgomery.

Mr Montgomery will be leaving the firm to pursue private interests. Montgomery Oppenheim has become one of Ireland’s most successful fund managers.

Joe O’Dwyer and Kevin Gallacher have been appointed joint managing directors of Montgomery Oppenheim.

Mr O'Dwyer is currently chief investment officer while Gallacher is currently director of marketing and client service. Both will retain their existing responsibilities.
