A strong rise in German exports outstripped gains in imports to power growth of 0.4% in Europe’s largest economy in the second quarter, data showed yesterday.

PAUL MONTGOMERY has sold his 30% stake in the fund management company he founded for a price believed to be in excess of €10 million.

Sal Oppenheim, the German majority shareholder of Montgomery Oppenheim, has announced it has acquired the shareholding of founder and managing director, Paul Montgomery.

Montgomery Oppenheim’s managed fund has been ranked as Ireland’s top performing pooled pension fund over the last ten years.
