The International Fund for Ireland today reported investment in 2004 of €36.5m in more than 300 projects in Northern Ireland and the border counties in the Republic.

The International Fund for Ireland today reported investment in 2004 of €36.5m in more than 300 projects in Northern Ireland and the border counties in the Republic.

The figure was published in the Fund’s 2004 annual report, which was launched by outgoing chairman William McCarter in Dublin this morning. It brings the total amount committed by the IFI to around 5,500 projects since its launch by the Irish and British governments in 1986 to €768m.
