Economist author Heilbroner dies
Robert Heilbroner, an economist and the author of the best-selling book The Worldly Philosophers: The Lives, Times and Ideas of the Great Economic Thinkers, has died at 85.
Heilbroner died on January 4, according to the website of the New York’s New School University, where he was a professor emeritus at the Graduate Faculty of Political and Social Science division and where he spent his career.
