Zimbabwe shuts seventh private bank
Financial authorities in Zimbabwe closed down a private bank today – the seventh bank to be shut in the country’s troubled financial sector this year.
The state’s Reserve Bank said in a statement that it had frozen all dealings of the CFX Bank for six months and appointed an independent regulator or curator, to supervise the bank’s affairs.
