The expansion will create 50 jobs. The company already employs approximately 1,000 workers in Ireland.

Oracle is the world's largest enterprise software company.

The new centre at the East Point Business Park will allow Dublin-based consultants to be deployed throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa to meet growing business demands.

The proposed Belfast office will open in the New Year and will enable the company to service the growing Northern Ireland market from a local base.
