Irish toy retailer opens five new stores

World of Wonder, the 100% Irish owned and operated toy store group, today announced further expansion of its business with the addition of five new stores to the group.

There are now 35 World of Wonder stores throughout the country, all of which are individually owned and operated locally.

The new World of Wonder store locations are at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin; Carlow Retail Park, Co Carlow; Meridian Point, Greystones, Co Wicklow; Patrick Street, Fermoy, Co Cork and Portadown, Co Armagh.

"Our greatest strength lies in our store numbers and locations," said Daithi O'Connor, World of Wonder retailer.

"In terms of geographical spread we are represented in 20 out of the 32 counties employing over 450 full-time staff, and each of our stores is managed and staffed locally."
