Luxury Dublin house prices climb highest
House prices at the top end of the Dublin market are increasing faster than the national average, according to figures released today by the estate agents Douglas Newman Good.
The company said prices for second-hand houses valued at €700,000 or more grew by 3.7% between July and September of this year, compared to an average price increase of 2.4% across all sectors.
On an annual basis, Douglas Newman Good said second-hand prices at the top end of the market rose by 21% in the year to the end of September. This was double the rate for the second-hand market as a whole.
