Danone to sell off Irish Biscuits

Irish Biscuits, the maker of Kimberly and Mikados, is being sold off.

Its parent company, the Danone group, has announced its selling its biscuit businesses in the UK and Ireland to another firm, United Biscuits.

Danone has said it has taken the move to secure long-term profit-making for the two companies.
