ISEQ closes up, FTSE down

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 13.3 points at 5466.19 today, despite the FTSE recording a drop of 48.3 (closing at 4464.1).

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed up 13.3 points at 5466.19 today, despite the FTSE recording a drop of 48.3 (closing at 4464.1).

Irish Life & Permanent closed up 21c at €12.51. Bank of Ireland was up 8c at €10.98, while AIB finished the day unchanged at €12.70. Anglo closed down 8c at €12.84.
