Figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) show that the average rent in Ireland is now €177.55, with Dublin and the Mid-East the most expensive.
The latest CSO housing survey says that average weekly rents in Dublin were €224.42, and €184.44 for the Mid-East. The CSO said the Border and the Midland regions had the lowest weekly figures of €110.47 and €124.97 respectively.
