British food retailer Sainsbury’s has completed the sale of its US business Shaw’s Supermarkets to Albertson’s for $2.5m (€2.08m).

British food retailer Sainsbury’s has completed the sale of its US business Shaw’s Supermarkets to Albertson’s for $2.5m (€2.08m).

The deal went through following clearance from anti-trust authorities across the Atlantic.
