SkyLink seeks to offer budget trans-Atlantic option
Start-up discount airline, SkyLink, is looking to be the first to offer cheap trans-Atlantic flights, according to a report from the Associated Press.
The start-up would fly between Baltimore and Stansted airport in London, and Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, the report said, on fares 15% to 70% below those offered by major airlines.
It is looking to start flying 200-seat and 400-seat wide-body aircraft, beginning in May 2005.
