The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) today announced details of five closure orders served by Environmental Health Officers (EHO) due to breaches of food safety legislation.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) today announced details of five closure orders served by Environmental Health Officers (EHO) due to breaches of food safety legislation.

The closure orders were served by EHOs from the North Western Health Board, acting on behalf of the FSAI.

Closure Orders were served on Philippe Henri Legrand, Michael Meunier, Brigitte Fagnan, Bruno Montane and Freddy Andre Cochepin, requiring them to cease the operation of their food stalls in Donegal town.

Closure Orders are served when it is deemed, upon inspection, that there is, or is likely to be, a grave and immediate danger to public health.

The orders remain listed on the website for a period of three months from the date of when a premises is adjudged to have corrected its food safety issues.
