Irish Agricultural Wholesale Society (IAWS) has entered into merger discussions with the Cork-based SWS Group.

Irish Agricultural Wholesale Society (IAWS) has entered into merger discussions with the Cork-based SWS Group.

The society, which holds a 17.48% stake in the IAWS Group, said the merger is subject to due diligence and the agreement of a business plan for the combined entity in a statement issued today.
