European airlines see modest rise in traffic for February 9 -15

The Association of European Airlines has said that European airlines' international traffic rose 3.4% in the period February 9-15 from a year earlier .

The Association said this rise was below what it had targeted.

It noted that there was zero growth on European routes while a modest increase of only 1.7% was recorded on North Atlantic routes and an increase of only 2.1% on Far East and Australasian routes.
