Harney begins US trade visit

Tánaiste Mary Harney is due to begin a five-day trade visit to the United States later today.

Ms Harney is due to meet the presidents of several pharmaceutical companies during the IDA promotional trip.

She is expected to use the meetings to sell Ireland as a location for such companies to establish operations.
