Two directors resign from Scottish Mutual

Peter Towers and Philip McDuell have resigned as directors of Scottish Mutual International Investment Fund plc.

A statement issued to the Irish stock exchange today said the resignations were for personal reasons.

Towers and McDuell also resigned as Directors of Scottish Mutual International Fund Managers.

They will be replaced on both boards by John Finnegan and Anthony Haynes with effect from yesterday.

Finnegan has been acting as Head of Finance of Abbey National Financial & Investment Services Ireland (Acquisition of Scottish Provident), since August 2001, while Haynes has been chief operating officer of Abbey National Financial & Investment Services Ireland plc since November last year.
