Expansion by two overseas firms leads to Sligo jobs
54 new jobs are to be created in Tubercurry, Co Sligo.
German manufacturing company 2R Kunststofftechnik GmbH & Co. KG and UK recruitment company Reed Executive Plc are to expand their operations with the support of IDA Ireland.
Kunststofftechnik will create 24 new jobs over five years, taking to 48 the number of employees it has in the area.
The new jobs will require injection moulding operators and assembly technicians.
It currently manufactures components for car interiors, such as the handbrake and door handles, to unseen brackets, fixings and safety related items.
Reed Executive Plc, is to create 30 new jobs over the next three years.
It will expand its Administration Centre, including payroll administration, centralised financial management activity and software application support.
