Barclaycard team up with United on credit card

Barclaycard is to use Manchester United on a branded credit card as it launches in Ireland.

Britain's biggest credit card lender has the rights to issue ManU credit cards worldwide - except for the UK and Singapore - since April 2003.

It currently operates in the United States, South Africa, Mauritius, Botswana and Kenya.

Barclaycard intend to market the service in Ireland using direct marketing, like mail, direct sales and media advertising.
