Londis orders review amid bidding war

British retail operation Londis has ordered an independent strategic review as it seeks to end uncertainty over its future, it was reported today.

It is thought to have appointed accounting giant KPMG to carry out the review after a takeover battle for the convenience store co-operative broke out before Christmas.
