European Court upholds decision on British Airways fine
A statement from the court press office of the European Court of First Instance, says that it has upheld a European Commission decision to fine British Airways PLC €6.8m for antitrust abuse.
The commission found that the company had rewarded loyalty from British travel agents through a system of commission and incentives and discriminated between them, which resulted in an exclusion from the British market of BA's competitors.
