Anglo Irish drops 45c
Anglo Irish saw 45c shaved off its share price today to close at €11.90.
In other financial news, AIB and BOI dropped 11c to €12.19 and 13c to €10.50 respectively.
Building firms fared little better with CRH down 39c to €16.10 while Heiton dipped 3c to €3.75.
Technology firm Iona was up 18c to €4.30.
Independent News and Media finished 1c down at €2.05.
Earlier Johnson Press, the book publishing firm owned by IN&M said it expects to report full year profits ahead of market expectations.
The confidence reflects stronger second-half advertising growth.
Ryanair dropped 14c to €6.10 as the market awaits a French court’s ruling on whether it received "illegal" subsidies on its Strasbourg route.
