Bank of England 'set to veto interest rate rise'
Homeowners in the UK should get a pre-Christmas boost today when the Bank of England votes against a second rise in interest rates in as many months.
Economists expect the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) to keep its base rate at 3.75% after raising the cost of borrowing a month earlier.
