'Challenging' times as turnover falls at BT

BT’s year-on-year turnover declined 2% to £4.6bn (€6.6bn) in a “challenging” second quarter, the company said today.

The former state-owned telecoms group said lower prices and regulatory changes had also led to a 1% fall in half-yearly turnover to £9.2bn (€13.2bn) to September 30.
