Ó Neachtáin: World Trade deal vital
Connacht/Ulster MEP Seán Ó Neachtáin is claiming that a world trade deal is vital if the economies of the EU and developing countries are to recover.
He says increased trading opportunities mean the creation of more jobs and stronger development of the European economy in general.
The Fianna Fáil MEP is a representative of the European Parliament at the World Trade talks in Mexico this week.
Mr Ó Neachtáin says Ireland is in a much stronger position at the talks in Cancun because of the new European reforms on farming policy.
