Home-owners are "trading up": BoI

More home-owners are "trading-up" in the Irish property market than ever before.

New figures from Bank of Ireland show one in five mortgages are sold to people who are moving to a better home.

The bank has seen an increase of more than 200% in the past five years in this type of business.

The Bank's Marketing Manager, Olive Moran, today called it "an emerging trend".
