Quinn-direct planning liability expansion

Insurer Quinn-direct has outlined its intention to expand further into the liability insurance sector.

Speaking at a presentation to the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Enterprise and Small

Business, Kevin Lunney, Financial Services Director with the group claimed the company had already been a major catalyst for change in the Irish Insurance market in Ireland.

"Over the past seven-and-a-half years the Company had consistently offered insurance

cover to all categories including young drivers when the others didn't want to know," said Mr Lunney.

The company has enjoyed a 300% increase in liability business and is opening additional office facilities at Enniskillen and Cavan.

It has also purchased the prestigious Landmark office complex at Blanchardstown. The company employs 630 people.
