Belfast closer to €400m shopping development

Belfast has moved a step closer towards a new €400m city centre shopping development.

The Northern Ireland Office has confirmed its authorising of the project at Victoria Square.

The shopping centre will be one of the largest in Europe.

With the British government giving all interested parties the next 28 days to make a submission, a final decision on the complex will not be made until the late summer or autumn.
