SMF in possible management buyout
SMF Technologies has received an offer from its managing director to buy part of the company.
SMF recently delisted from the Dublin market but still has a listing on the London AIM.
The company has been in difficulties and owes €186,000 to its largest shareholder Martin O'Donoghue.
Now John McDonnell and Gary Carroll have offered to pay off the debt and in addition will pay € 50,000 for the trading business of the group. The deal will have to be approved by the shareholders.
SMF makes measuring instruments.
