ISME commissions report on banks
The body representing small and medium businesses has commissioned an independent report into Irish banks.
ISME insist that the report will dispel the spin recently provided by a Bankers Federation report that charges are favourable compared to Europe.
The ISME report states that banks have long been exploiting small businesses and abusing their lack of competition.
ISME say that the bankers report does not mention many unseen charges used by banks in Ireland or relate to the 20 new charges that were introduced in the past three years.
