Ericsson and Hutchinson sign global deal

Ericsson and Hutchinson Whampoa have signed a global agreement for Ericsson's Video Gateway System.

This is a new technology which support live video telephony communication between personal computers and 3G mobile videophones.

Ericsson and Hutchinson Whampoa have been working together on the technology for some time. They are currently testing the service in Italy, the UK and Hong Kong.
