EMC wins STAR award

For the second year in a row EMC Corporation was the winner of the Software Technical Assistance Recognition (STAR) award for outstanding mission-critical support.

The STAR award is presented by the Service and Support Professionals Association (SSPA) at its annual Horizons World Conference, held in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.

EMC's software, systems and networked storage solutions are qualified to work with 400 server types, 40 operational systems, 81 storage software products, 145 network connectivity and 1,200 different devices ranging from HBAs and drivers to switches and tape subsystems.

To support its interoperability, EMC has forged co-operative support agreements (CSA) with over 90 vendors.
