Cyantel launches Family Guardian
Software company, Cyantel has launched a new product, the Family Guardian which will allow parents track down the location of their children using sms or internet services services available on their mobile phones.
According to the company's CEO Padraig Murphy: "We believe that this product will appeal to parents because it addresses their concerns regarding the location and safety of their teenage children while out socialising, travelling, attending college or meeting friends.
"Family Guardian has a simple, user-friendly interface so that parents can access the service from work, home or on the move."
Earlier, this year, Cyantel raised €1m in funds from Enterprise Ireland and HotOrigin. The company is currently located in Cork, wehere it employs 17 people.
