Insurance Federation establish new group

The Irish Insurance Federation has announced the establishment of an Insurance Industry Action Group which will implement some of the recommendations of the Motor Insurance Advisory Board.

The IIF say they are implementing the ten most relevant recommendations of the 67 that were made in the recently published Motor Insurance Advisory Board report.

The IIF has also appointed an independent chairman for the group which will look to address the way in which motor insurance is provided in Ireland.

Kevin Bonner is the new Chairman. He is a former Secretary General of the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment.
