Infrastructure could threaten boom: SFA
The Small Firms Association has warned that Ireland is facing a bleak economic future if infrastructure projects are not completed quickly.
SFA director Pat Delaney said a recent competitiveness survey which put Ireland 46th out of 49 countries is a warning signal which must be acted upon.
Mr Delaney called for the top 10 projects in the National Development Plan to be funded as a matter of urgency.
He also called for the Dublin-Cork motorway to be prioritised, warning that the economic boom could end if Ireland fails to complete infrastructure projects as speedily as its European neighbours.
