MobileAware secures contract with 3G operator

As part of a wider UMTS network and advanced service enabler solution provided by Nortel Networks, the Everix Multi-Channel Platform will provide multi-channel, multi-access capabilities.

These overcome device diversity using advanced device detection and transformation capabilities. OniWay will use Everix to create and deliver multi-channel web applications that can optimise the capabilities of its high bandwidth UMTS network.

The solution will enable OniWay to become the first operator in Portugal to offer mobile internet services across a UMTS network.

MobileAware's platform is being integrated in OniWay together with Nortel Networks NGS [Network Gateway Server] OSA solution.
