Digital Channel Partners closes

E-business consultancy Digital Channel Partners has closed. An examiner was appointed to the company in August, 2001.

Later in the year the examiner put forward proposals to reduce the company debts and introduce new funding by way of a loan and this plan was approved by creditors.

In December the company employed 30 people having at one time employed around 180 people in Dublin, London and New York.

However, the company was not able to carry out the plan and has been forced to close, with the loss of around 25 jobs.
