Xiam launches media platform in Cannes

Mobile applications software company Xiam has launched the Xiam Media Platform at the 3GSM congress in Cannes.

The new platform enables mobile operators and service providers to offer media outlets (television and radio stations, newspapers, magazines and marketing agencies) the ability to exploit the power of interactive mobile messaging.

The Xiam Media Platform is a software application that enables a range of media outlets to run simultaneously a variety of interactive applications such as comment lines, votes, competitions, quizzes and promotions.

Mobile operators and service providers hosting the platform are provided with the full range of functions required for managing these services.

The product is also compliant with multimedia messaging standards.

Xiam's headquarters are in Dublin but it also has offices in the UK, Sweden and Japan.
